     → Mother asked the boys to be quiet, said that the baby had gone to sleep.

     → Mother asked the boys to be quiet, saying that the baby had gone to sleep.

 

31. He said to me, "If I had wings, I would fly to you." <가정법>

     → He told me that if he had wings, he would fly to me.
